The distinction between an automation and a campaign

A campaign refers to a single email that is sent to either the entire list or a particular segment of it. You have the option to send the campaign immediately or schedule it to be sent later. Once the campaign is sent, you will receive a report detailing the campaign's performance. This data can be used to refine your segmentation strategy.

Automations are a series of automated steps that are triggered based on specific conditions for each subscriber. Automated emails can be included in these automations. It's important to note that these automated emails are distinct from campaigns, as campaigns cannot be sent through automations.

Currently, it is not feasible to utilize automation activity data to segment information.
