How to edit the double opt-in settings

By default, GiantCampaign provides the option of single opt-in for your lists. However, you do have the ability to activate double opt-in for each list as needed.

When contacts subscribe to a list that has double opt-in enabled, they will receive an additional confirmation email to ensure that their email address is verified.

How to use the double opt-in procedure

The double opt-in process involves two easy steps. First, your contact will submit your online sign-up form and be added to your 'Pending' contacts list. Then, they'll receive a confirmation email and must click a link to verify their email, which will change their status to 'Subscribed' in your list.

Please note that the double opt-in emails are only sent to users added through the API and forms. If you add contacts manually or via import, they won't receive an email. Also, make sure you have permission before adding contacts through the Dashboard.
